Everything a first year in the gym needs.

No sixty-screen setup, no jargon. Open the app, log what you did, eat, repeat.

Workout log

Log a set in two taps.

Weight, reps, save. The next set is already waiting. Dropsets and supersets have their own tab, so odd sets do not turn into notes.

  • Normal, dropset and superset sets
  • Rest timer and notes on every exercise
  • Copy Previous Workout Today starts from your last session in one tap.
  • Cardio too: GPS runs with a map, pace and distance
The workout screen: Biceps curls with Normal, Dropset and Superset tabs, weight and reps fields, and three logged sets

18 programs Paid plan

Plans in plain English.

Eighteen programs written for people who have never followed one, with a New to the Gym? guide that explains what a set, a rep and a warm-up are. Exercises have plain names, and every one of them comes with four short notes, so you never have to look up a movement mid-set.

Dumbbell Squat 3 × 10
How to Do It

1. Stand with feet about shoulder width apart and hold dumbbells at your sides. 2. Bend your knees and hips as though sitting down. 3. Go as low as you can while keeping your feet flat. 4. Push through your feet to stand tall.

What It Works

Thighs and hips.

Mistake to Avoid

Do not let your knees fall inward.

Easier Version

Do the same squat without dumbbells.

Food log

Food, and more than macros.

Search a food database or scan a barcode, set your meals and your targets in grams, and switch between a training-day and a rest-day goal. Calories, carbs, fat and protein are free for everyone. The paid plan adds the numbers most calorie counters hide.

  • Food search, custom foods and saved meals
  • Sodium and potassium for every food and the whole day Paid plan
  • Fiber, sugar, saturated and trans fat, cholesterol, calcium, iron, vitamins A, C and D Paid plan

Progress Paid plan

See your strength go up.

Every exercise you log gets its own chart: personal records, estimated one-rep max and weekly volume. Twelve weeks in, you can see exactly how far you came.

  • Personal records per exercise
  • Estimated 1RM and weekly volume
  • Daily streak, weight chart and reminders on the dashboard, free for everyone

Personal records · your best set for every exercise, kept next to the chart

How the first week goes.

Three things to do. The app keeps the rest.

1

Pick a plan, or just start logging

Open a program from the list, or add your own exercises and log the sets you did today. Copy Previous Workout takes care of next time.

2

Log what you eat

Search or scan, set your calorie and macro targets in grams, and see the day fill up on the dashboard next to your water and your weight.

3

Watch the records stack up

Keep the streak going. Every set you log feeds the progress charts and the personal records for that exercise.

Where your data lives.

Stated exactly, because "private" means nothing without the details.

The free plan shows a banner ad on the home screens; the paid plan removes it. Crash reports and screen-view analytics are collected without your name.

Questions people ask first.

Is it really free?

Yes. Logging workouts, runs and food is free, with a banner ad on the home screens. The paid plan adds barcode scanning, no ads, the extra nutrition facts, rest-day targets, the progress charts, the 18 programs and a free streak restore each week.

What does the paid plan cost?

$12.99 a month with a 7-day free trial, or $79.99 a year. Prices in US dollars; your store may show local prices. You can cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play account.

Is it good for complete beginners?

That is who it is for. The New to the Gym? guide explains what a warm-up, a set, a rep and a rest are before the first workout. The beginner plans run three days a week on common equipment or none at all, and every exercise in them has a how-to, the mistake to avoid and an easier version.

Are all of these features in the store version today?

Logging workouts, runs and food, the dashboard, the streak, water, weight and reminders are in the app today. The 18 programs with the exercise notes, the extra nutrition facts and the progress charts described here come with the next update, planned for October 2026; the paid plan unlocks them as soon as it lands.

iPhone or Android?

Both. iPhone needs iOS 15.5 or later. Android needs 7.0 or later.

Does it track runs?

Yes. GPS runs with a live map, pace and distance in miles, plus manual entries and a history with maps.

Where is my data?

On your phone. Workouts, meals and weight are saved on your device, not in the cloud. Your account, goals and streak are kept with your sign-in so you can sign in with email, Google or Apple. Deleting the app deletes the logs.
